(VSCB) - "Science, technology and innovation - Arousing aspirations, creating the future" is the theme for the year 2021 to celebrate Vietnam Science and Technology Day (May 18), the most important event for Vietnam science and technology, which was approved at the 13th National Assembly.

Vietnam Science and Technology Day aims to honor and pay tribute to generations of science and technology staff, researchers and scientists. At the same time, this event introduces newly issued policies and laws to develop and apply science and technology, support start-ups to innovate, improve productivity based on science and technology and innovation; major objectives and orientations of national strategies/programs on science and technology.

The event tries to encourage the passion for scientific research of the young generation, our country ‘s future owners. This is also an opportunity to propagate and raise public awareness about the role of science and technology, call for investment in scientific research, technological innovation in production and business as well as in all social areas. With the hope that Vietnam science and technology will have a stronger development, in order to affirm the important role in the development process and secure the position of Vietnam on the map of the region and the world.
