    THE ROLE OF COOPERATIVES IN AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION TODAY.

    (VSCB) - International Day of Cooperatives helps raise awareness about cooperatives and promotes the movement's ideas of international solidarity, economic efficiency, equality and world peace. Since 1995, the ICA and the United Nations through the Committee for the Promotion and Advancement of Cooperatives (COPAC) have jointly set the theme for the celebration of International Day of Cooperatives.

    ICA is a non-profit international organization established in 1895 to develop the cooperative model – a social enterprise. ICA is the voice of cooperatives all over the world, representing more than 310 Cooperative Alliances and Cooperative Organizations in 110 countries.

    Currently, in the fields of healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, retail, finance, housing, employment, education, social services and many more, many cooperative members in the world have raised awareness of community about cooperatives and promoted the ideas of the cooperative movement concerning international solidarity, economic efficiency, equality and world peace.

    International Day of Cooperatives is an opportunity to popularize the people-centered business model, sustainably maintained by the cooperative values ​​of self-reliance, solidarity, ethical values, social responsibility, caring for the community, creating shared prosperity, and responding promptly to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

    On the International Day of Cooperatives this year, VSCB Certification Organization hopes that all of our cooperative partners will maintain the values ​​of cooperation and solidarity as well as the ethical values ​​of social responsibility and concern for the community.
