(VSCB) - The International Labor Organization (ILO) has recently launched the International Year for the Elimination of Child Labor 2021, to encourage legislative and practical actions to eradicate child labor all over the world.

Member States take immediate and effective measures to eradicate forced labour, end modern slavery and human trafficking, and ensure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labor, and end child labor in all its forms by 2025.

The Government of Vietnam has been developing a road map for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and the Program on prevention and reduction of child labor in the 2021-2030 period. Vietnamese enterprises must ensure that their supply chains are free from child labor in their increased participation in the global trade.
